Founded in 2005, Iron Horse has built a strong reputation for architectural design across aviation and public infrastructure, with a portfolio that includes Denver International Airport, Denver Union Station, the Colorado Convention Center, and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Its work ranges from civic landmarks to active transportation hubs, reflecting deep experience navigating the technical and operational demands of complex, high-profile projects. The acquisition builds on GFT’s investment in its Buildings & Places practice, combining Iron Horse’s architectural expertise and established public-sector relationships with GFT’s broader architecture, engineering, and program management capabilities to deliver a fuller range of services across complex infrastructure projects.
