OceanSound Partners (“OceanSound”), a private equity firm that invests in technology and technology-enabled services companies serving government and highly regulated end markets, today announced that it has promoted three individuals and added eight new hires across its investment, portfolio ownership, and operations teams. OceanSound currently manages more than $4.4 billion in Regulatory Assets Under Management and has invested in ten platform investments which, in turn, have completed 44 add-on acquisitions. OceanSound’s portfolio companies collectively generate over $3.9 billion in revenue and employ approximately 14,000 individuals.
OceanSound is pleased to announce: (i) the promotions of David Stein to Partner, Roshni Gill to Vice President and Katherine Davey to Chief of Staff; (ii) the investment team additions of Ted Shanahan as Partner, Amanda Consentino as Senior Associate and Rishi Khandheria as Senior Associate; (iii) the portfolio ownership team additions of Tyler Yake, Vice President of FP&A and Office of the CFO, Adam Cline, Vice President of M&A Integration and Nicolas Saadjian, Associate, Data & Analytics; and, (iv) the operations team additions of Anthony Thomas as Assistant Controller and Claire Moody as Associate, Investor Relations.

David Stein, Partner, joined OceanSound in 2019, and currently serves on the boards of directors of ARA, Lynx, PAR, Netrix and SMX. Prior to joining OceanSound, he was a Vice President at CI Capital Partners and an Associate at Veritas Capital. David began his career as an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group. David holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
Roshni Gill, Vice President, joined OceanSound in 2021 and will continue to assist the team’s investment efforts. Prior to joining OceanSound in 2021, she was an Analyst at Raymond James, where she focused on M&A in the technology and services sectors. Roshni holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.
Katherine Davey, Chief of Staff, joined OceanSound in 2021 and has been an integral member of the administrative, operational and investor relations efforts. Prior to OceanSound, Katherine held various administrative and operational roles at CastleHook Partners & Pzena Investment Management. Katherine holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Elon University.
Ted Shanahan, Partner, joins OceanSound from Veritas Capital where he had been a member of the investment team. Previously, Ted was an Associate at Summit Partners and began his career as an Analyst at UBS. Ted holds a B.A. in Government and English from Georgetown University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
Amanda Cosentino, Senior Associate, comes to OceanSound from New Mountain Capital where she was an Associate. Amanda began her career as an Analyst at Greenhill & Co. and holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.
Rishi Khandheria, Senior Associate, previously was an Associate at Searchlight Capital. He began his career as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley and holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance & Accounting from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business.
Tyler Yake, Vice President of FP&A and Office of the CFO, joins OceanSound from Alvarez & Marsal where he was a Manager of CFO Services and Private Equity Performance Improvement. Earlier in his career, Tyler was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group and a Manager at the Huron Consulting Group. Tyler holds an M.B.A in Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and a B.A. in Economics & Management from Albion College.
Adam Cline, Vice President of M&A Integration, previously was a Manager in West Monroe’s M&A practice. Earlier in his career, he was an Analyst at Forester Capital and an Associate Vice President at Dynasty Financial Partners. Adam holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Management from Columbia University.
Nicolas Saadjian, Associate, Data & Analytics, previously was a Data Engineer at Seidor Analytics, where he focused on data and analytics, data warehousing and data maintenance. Nicolas holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a B.S. in Audio Engineering from the TAMABA Institute.
Anthony Thomas, Assistant Controller, joins OceanSound from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe where he was an Assistant Controller. Anthony began his career working in the tax group at Ernst & Young in the New York Financial Services office. Anthony holds a B.S./M.S. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
Claire Moody, Associate, Investor Relations, joins OceanSound from Evercore where she was an Associate in the Private Funds Group (PFG). Claire began her career at Credit Suisse in the Private Fund Group. Claire holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in English & Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flager Business School.
